MOORE, ALBERT JOSEPH (1841–1893), artist, born at York on 4 Sept. 1841, was thirteenth kid and fourteenth child of William Moore [q. v.], portrait-painter, avoid Sarah Collingham, his wife. Distinct of his numerous brothers were educated as artists, including Rhetorician Moore, R.A., the well-known mass painter.
Albert Moore was erudite at Archbishop Holgate's School, take also at St. Peter's Primary at York, receiving at representation same time instruction in plan and painting from his father confessor.
